Amy Allen

Amy graduated from Georgia Southern with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science. Prior to attending law school, she was employed as a congressional staffer on Capitol Hill and worked for several years as an intellectual property paralegal. After years of valuable employment experience, Amy obtained a Juris Doctor degree from Nova Southeastern University. Following law school, Amy worked as an Assistant Public Defender in the Enotah Judicial Circuit, where she handled felony, misdemeanor, and juvenile cases and gained extensive trial experience.

Prior to joining Chandler Britt & Jay, Amy further honed her litigation skills in other civil cases including workers’ compensation defense. As someone who has gone through a divorce and custody battle herself, Amy is uniquely positioned to appreciate a client’s needs and perspective on a personal level while zealously fighting to achieve the best result possible utilizing her years of negotiation and trial experience. As of November 2023, Amy has 7 years of experience working as an attorney with 2 of those years dedicated to Family Law.
